ALTERATIONS AND REPAIRS
New City Cleaners offers a full-service alteration department. Our stores have spacious fitting rooms for all your alteration needs. Call for an appointment or just come in for a fitting. If you're a route customer, you can send in specifications for hemming or repairs. Many minor repairs such as seams or hems that need to be restitched or buttons that need to be tightened are done at no additional cost. From minor repairs to major alterations, our seamstresses do impeccable work.

As Kern County's exclusive Adjust-a-Drape licensee, New City Cleaners takes pride in extending the look and life of your drapery investment. The proven Adjust-a-Drape process assures exact length and even hemlines. Our trained route representatives take pride in the taking down and re-hanging of your draperies including special window coverings such as beauty pleats, valances and swags.

TABLECLOTHS AND LINENS
Our specialty is processing your fine table linens, including heirlooms with intricate lace or embroidery. Tablecloths can be put on rollers to eliminate additional folds. Your special linens are delicately cleaned and hand finished by our careful and experienced staff.

DRYCLEANING
New City Cleaners offers the finest quality drycleaning through utilizing special cleaning methods to carefully clean even your most delicate articles. New City Cleaners has attained the designation of exclusive Sanitone licensee for Kern County. Sanitone produces the most advanced detergents, sizings and spotting agents in the industry. New City Cleaners also features Stoddard solvent, the most gentle of all the drycleaning solvents. Stoddard solvent is a natural solvent that allows fabrics to retain their original look and feel. As the exclusive cleaners utilizing Stoddard solvent and Sanitone products in Kern County New City Cleaners is able to clean and revive the most delicate of fabrics, such as wedding gowns, formals and draperies.
